      Kingdom of Thailand is a constitutional monarchy in Southeast Asia. Thailand is located in the central part of the South-Central Peninsula. Its West is bordered by the north, Myanmar and the Andaman Sea, Laos in the northeast, Cambodia in the southeast and Malaysia in the south.

     Thai is the official language, the currency is baht, the population is nearly 70 million, is the fourth lowest unemployment rate in the world.

     Thailand pursued a policy of free economy and developed rapidly in the 1990s. It has become one of the "four tigers in Asia". Its per capita GDP is US$6594. It is one of the world's emerging industrial countries and emerging market economies. Manufacturing, agriculture and tourism are the main sectors of the economy. Thailand is the only net exporter of grain in Asia and one of the five largest exporters of agricultural products in the world. The electronics industry and other manufacturing industries have developed rapidly, and the industrial structure has changed significantly. The automobile industry is the pillar industry and the largest automobile market in Southeast Asia and ASEAN.

     Thailand is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. Thailand is a country of Buddhism, and most Thais believe in four-sided Buddha. Buddhists make up more than 90% of the country's population. Thailand is a member and founder of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as well as a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
